Plimmer & Clay Boot Shop in Church Street (now (1980) the site of Reads Music Shop shows from left Mrs & Miss Clay, Mrs Plimmer, Mr Plimmer (former Mayor) and young Queenie Plimmer, niece of Mrs Christian, the jeweller.
The Oswestry Council website states that William Henry Plimmer was mayor in 1906/07.
We believe that in 2016 the Gates Gift Shop is the site of Plimmers shop.
