This float took part in the Round Table Christmas procession Dec 1970 (BCA 26 Oct 1994)
The first Christmas parade complete with Father Christmas took place in 1956. Several of us old enough to remember said we thought that the parade started in the mid-50s not mid 60s and it seems that we haven’t completely lost our marbles yet !!!
