OSW-NM-O-5-8-6 – Caravan on Racecourse during WW2

This photograph was sent into us by Norma Roberts after seeing are collection of Victoria Road, she was evacuated to Oswestry in 1940/1941 and she comments;

This picture is of my grandmother, my cousin, a “friend” who I think was called Christopher and myself. Quite who the “caravan” belonged to I can’t remember – it may have been “Christopher’s” but I do remember that The Racecourse was a hugely popular place to visit and to find blackberries!
