OSW-PH-H-114-1 – Preshenlle – Henlle Hall 1891

Preshenlle Hall now called Henlle Hall  - Volume 4 Stanley Leighton Sketches

Preshenlle Hall. Whittington. (Col. Lovett.)
This is a good specimen of a small country house, now occupied by a farmer. The date appears to be of the 17th. century. The stack of Chimneys and the brick string-courses are effective, but the mullions have disappeared from the windows. The yew trees are carefully clipped.

John Lovett, the grandfather of the present owner, bought the estate from Mr. Lloyd of Aston, and by him the house of Belmont, which lies a short distance away, was built in this century.
