Crickheath Hall. Moreton. Stanley Leighton Sketch
This little place is tenanted by a farmer. It has, however, some remains which show that it was once a residence of gentlefolk. The old plan of the house has not been much altered, though the pattern or the wood work has been hidden under a coating of “rough cast”, and the new windows inserted.
Mrs. Harwood, a relative of Lord Berwick. lived here in the early part of this century. The house belongs to a Mr. Harrington.
