“— He joined the 2nd Line Welsh Horse in February 1915 and served with that regiment until disbanded, when he was transferred to 9th Lancers. He went to France in November 1916, attached to the East Surrey Regiment, but went back to the Lancers in April 1917. He was home on leave last January. –‘
